Pat Cadigan is the author of numerous short stories - SF, fantasy, horror etc - over a career lasting since 1980. She has written more than 25 books. She has won many awards, including the Locus Award, the Hugo Award, and notably the Arthur C. Clarke Award for her second and third novels, Synners and Fools. Born in New York, raised in Massachusetts, and then spending time in the Greater Kansas City Area, she moved to London, UK in 1996, after her marriage to Chris Fowler.
